Artist's Comments

A first generation mech employed as a tank support. It has a plasma rifle on it's right side, a 40mm gattling gun on the left side, and optical wirelessly guided missiles at the top.

A very nice painting. The tones you used really and a powerful feeling to the whole thing. That is one awesome mech/tank.

Superb job

I like the mech design, it has some nice angles and contours :) Great work!

Sweet! How many rounds of 40mm shells does it carry? A gatling gun configuration must be a high volume output system right? What behavior are the shells? Like grenades? or are they mostly perferation rounds.
:iconomi-kun:
oh right, yeah a lot of room in the mech is for storage of the shells, I'd say about the same capacity as that of an A-10, maybe less, since A-10s only have 30mm right? I'd say it fires at the same rate as that carried by the A-10, that's.. ~60 round a second? I know it depletes its holds in 18 seconds, and the barrel melts if it fires for more than 4. so... ~600 / 18 is like 30ish, so 30 rounds a second?

It's mostly anti-tank, depleted uranium core. So that's perferation rounds?

Awesomeeee. It's nice to see a deviation from you. :)

I would hope that the missile is wireless!

Cool you have really got the concept artist style. What sort of speed do you recon it can move at?

45mph at max speed I'd say. But it's not designed for fast pace action, more like backup support. That's why it has so many long range weaponry.
