Sorry for butchering your art, :iconnorsehound: but I really liked your line art [link]
anyway, I feel your art has so much more potential to it. Keep working on it! Don't paint it like this, this is when you abuse the living hell out of color dodge and burn.

Man I need to learn to paint for real again. Any crits to help me out?

That's a fun way to make ridiculous proportions and anatomy look cool.

I like what you've done with the colour selection and how you've done it, it's one of your best ones yet.

Wow really? Thanks. Yeah I've come to like it more with time. Don't hate it as much as I initially thought. Man it's going to be hard to get away from dodge and burn!

What do you mean butchering? I think this is awesome. It's encouraging me to try color dodge and burn for myself when it comes to shading and lighting! I don't see why you think it's such a bad thing when the results look so impressive!

For critical critiques I don't think I can offer much except that some of the shading is incomplete in some areas (the finhead as an example), and that the lighting does not correspond with some of the geometry (the legs for example), but that last part might be my fault since I might not have been clear/consistent with my drawing in the first place. Had I 3d models to play with for reference it might have been a different story. Alas...
