Looking good; I am not sure about the bounced light near the jet; and maybe add some rim-lighting to the area closest to the sun; you have with a soft blue, but adding a harsher white line on the edge might make it pop. Since we can see the sun it might should give off more.
You have some yellow parts on the bottom of the ship that I might add a hint of blue to ass the blue form the ground bounces up onto them; not much though.
Might want to add the silhouette of a person for scale, or a fule truck or something; as well as a something like metal rigging holding piping and/or lights so that you can have a secondary light source coming from it.
Check out my most recent deviation for a quick paintover; these are just suggestions.
Also; light colors in a layer set to overlay can make for a good 'wash' like I do with the green on the ship.
it feels very Mcdonalds like.... and if that's the sun in front shouldn't there be more light on your ship... the way you have your lighting is as if the sun was above the point where the ship is... I might reconsider the lighting or the sun

thanks, incomitatum. The sun in the picture is over head and not in view. Let's just say there are shapes surrounding it that should look familiar to you if you know Homeworld. I might take it out if it's too misleading
Jorge, it IS very McD like, but that's the original color scheme. And no the sun is not in front, it's an explosion in orbit. I'll work more on it later.
